was born in Kansas, Valley Center Kansas.....back in the 20th century   Archie started out in the show business, as a musician, in the country music, started working at the world
renown Palomino Club, the day he got to town.  With the Gene Davis band....Working on the road with Roger Miller,  Freddy Fender, Johnny Rodiquest, Hank Thompson. and winning from the ACM (Academy of Country Music) 11 awards for "Best Drummer" and 4 awards for "Best Band", Archie has appeared in a lot of TV and movies, as a musician, and character parts, 
Archie was in the 1995 production of No Time For Sergeants as "Pa"...and was asked to play him again...Archie has always enjoyed working at the Glendale Center Theatre.  Tthis will be his third production he has acted in...and it has always been a great and fun experience.  Since 1995, Archie has directed 6 plays and one musical production at the Sierra Madre Playhouse. and 4 productions a the Montrose Village theater ....Archie wrote and produced a "Hee-Haw" type stage show with old and new country music and old corny jokes...Archie performs aound the valley and different Coffee houses...and has just finished a new CD....with 13 original songs, using the finest musicians  It is called "Archie Francis, Money in the Bank" country music the way he likes to hear it, I believe you will find the CD has a timeless quality, with some beautiful music.
